If you were elected as a precinct delegate or an alternate at your caucus on February 3, this is your convention. You are entitled to attend the county convention as a voting member and to run for a Delegate position to the congressional district (CD) in which you live, the state, and the State Central Committee (SCC).

Becker County is allocated 19 Delegate slots for CD and state Delegates: 17 in the CD7 portion of the county, and 2 in the CD8 portion. These positions will be elected at the convention. This year we will also be electing our Delegates to the State Central Committee. Becker County gets only 3 of these: 2 in CD7 and 1 in CD8. We will also be electing up to twice the number of Alternates for all slates. 

All state/CD and SCC Delegates are automatically voting members of the BPOU Executive Committee (EC), and will be expected to attend all EC meetings, normally held monthly. 

You may become a candidate by submitting Form 2. This form must be competed and received by noon the day before the convention. If you are A current Delegate or Alternate, you also need to submit this form and run again for the position. You may be provided with a short amount of time to address the body during the convention.
